How to Run an Event

Social Sciences Week events can be staged by any individual or group attached to an organisation that has the capacity to run an event, including Social Sciences associations, universities, schools, community organisations or businesses.

To be part of Social Sciences Week, and listed in the Program, your event must:

· Take place during Social Sciences Week 2018 (10-16 September)

· Feature social science (we recommend having a social scientist involved in the event)

· Be primarily aimed at a non-academic audience.

· Fit with the aims of the SSW

Within this framework, we encourage you to be creative. Online activities, public debates, workshops, exhibitions, performances, seminars or film screenings that feature social science are just some of the options.
